    Description

    Up for sale is a very nicely made French WWI period trench dagger or knife.
    Made from the handle of French model 1886 or 1893 Lebel / Berthier bayonet.
    Probably made in times when official trench knives were not widely available on the frond and soldiers had to improvise.
    The blade is very similar to German WWI period trench knife blades.
    The scabbard is very simple made of sheet metal.
    Condition is very good.
    A very nice knife that will be a welcome addition to any trench knife collection.
